So Buddy and I went to Petsmart for adoption day, this was Buddy's first public appearance.
He did really well around all the other dogs and lots and lots of new people and kids. People seem to agree that "he just looks like a 'Buddy'". Being able to sit on command is pretty impressive in a hectic environment like that as well.
It's hard for a 2-year-old dog like Buddy to compete with a bunch of cute little puppies for attention, but he sure held his own. All you have to do is spend a few minutes petting him while he looks up at you with his goofy smile and he just melts your heart.
Plus, I know there's someone out there with a soft spot for goofballs who would love an already housebroken dog! Anyone who has potty trained a puppy knows what I'm talking about.
Anyway, no takers today, but we'll be back at Petsmart in Augusta this coming Sunday, September 1!
